How To Live Fully And Peacefully

PEACE“There is nothing permanent in this world except change,” the old adage reminds. The world around us is constantly changing. Nature is constantly changing too. Even our feelings have its ebb and flow. Hence, for us to cope up with this nature of life, it is but wise for us to accept and have patience with the changes that occur.
The only constant in our world is the divine. To live life fully and peacefully we must anchor ourselves on God. The way to remain peaceful in a changing world is to be aligned with our inner changelessness while adapting as needed to the passing world. Welcome change. It promotes growth and restores equilibrium.

The way to remain peaceful in a changing world is to be aligned with our inner changelessness while adapting as needed to the passing world.
The key to live fully and peacefully  is on how we respond to change. Here are some wake-up calls:
  • Whenever you experience a challenge, remember this that this too shall pass. With a flexible attitude, you will float through life rather than trying to swim upstream.
  • Accepting change and staying open to it takes patience, which is to be calm and undisturbed no matter what happens. This does not imply being unconcerned or uninterested. When, we’re patient, we cultivate our inner peace and do not disturb the creative flow in the deep waters below. A person who is patient knows that he or she is on God’s time and that everything is unfolding just as it should. Look at nature. Relationship takes time. Learning a new language takes time. So, it is wise to cultivate patience.
  • Often times, we are patient with others, but forget to extend the same courtesy to ourselves. We make a mistake and are quick to judge and berate ourselves. When we are hurt or angry, we seldom are willing to give the situation an opportunity to reveal its lesson. We want to feel better now. We want to move though a painful situation quickly. Anything worth having in life requires patience. Change and patience are part of the process of living fully and peacefully. Everything that happens to us brings us closer to God. With patience, we keep the door open to God’s blessing, knowing that all is coming together for our highest good.
Remember, that our time is not God’s time. Choose to live peacefully, patiently and welcome change as your friend. With patience, flexibility and the right attitude about change and life, the world can be yours.
